OvuSense Featured in Spermcast!

Trying to get pregnant can be complicated enough, but can be even more difficult if you're doing it on your own. Molly Hawkey is 40, single, living in LA, and has decided this is exactly what she's going to do. She started Spermcast to document her journey of trying to find a sperm donor, going through fertility treatments, and everything in between. The podcast has been featured in the Washington Post, HuffPo, and more for bringing awareness to the concept of single motherhood by choice.

Spermcast Features OvuSense!

As Molly enters her third season of Spermcast, she’s more confused than ever so she decided to speak with OvuSense's fertility nurse consultant, Kate Davies, about her experience. Molly has also been using OvuSense to track her cycle and time her fertility treatments, including IUIs.

After recently experiencing what is believed to be a chemical pregnancy, Molly spoke with Kate about her cycle, how various fertility treatments impact her temperature chart, and what she should see on her chart if she is in fact pregnant. How Does OvuSense Work With Donor Sperm?

Regardless of why you're using donor sperm, one thing remains true throughout any circumstance or situation – the timing of when to use that sperm is imperative. This is where OvuSense can offer tremendous value.

By analyzing core body temperature, which is shown to be the most accurate reflection of progesterone in the body, OvuSense is able to predict ovulation up to 24 hours in advance, and is correct 96% of the time. When trying to conceive, this means you can schedule an IUI or conduct at-home insemination to coincide with your ovulation.
