Secondary infertility, now pregnant with baby number 3

Hi, I'm Miffy and here is my fertility story and journey.

I've be trying for baby no three recently. My first baby was a stillborn (conceived her naturally after 6 months of trying). We then tried for 18 months after that with no success and it was at this point that I found out I had PCOS.

The doctors said that I needed to lose weight and be put on medication. We tried again to conceive and we were successful. My daughter is now 5 years old, after trying for her for 4.5 years. It's not nice being on fertility medication. We wanted to have a third baby, so I underwent ovarian drilling and then lost weight (as my doctor suggested) only to be told that IVF was our only option. We were so upset. Continue reading →

My fertility journey so far, with OvuSense

My name is Pamela. I`m 34 years old and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for 16 years (since I was 18) and this is my fertility story so far...

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 14. I had always wondered why my friends would get their period 4 weeks apart on the same day and I never knew when to expect mine! I always had very heavy periods and would be in a lot of pain; I took a trip to my doctor with my mum and she asked what they could do for me. Multiple miscarriages and now success with OvuSense

Hello, my name is Suzanne and here is my fertility story and journey!

I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2010.   I have a son called Jake, who is 5 years old.  Since then, I have had two miscarriages and one therapeutic termination of my daughter unfortunately, at 15 short weeks.

My name is Gemma and here is my story...

I'm 32, and have been married to my lovely husband for 5 years. We met in school and have been together about 17 years. We had been trying for a baby for about a year, and went to my doctor as recommended, through blood tests and scans I was diagnosed with PCOS.

My first doctor was very unsympathetic, and prescribed a couple of months of Clomid (without monitoring). I was testing for ovulation myself, and also temping and knew that I wasn't ovulating but she was very reluctant to send me for any monitoring. Secondary infertility, 3 week Luteal Phase and now pregnant

Finally pregnant after 8 years of trying to conceive

Here's my story & journey...

Married at the age of 22 in 2002 and we started TTCing (trying to conceive) in 2005/6.  I was diagnosed with Prolactinoma (benign tumour in the pituitary gland) in 2007 and was put straight on Bromocriptine to shrink the tumour.

At the same time, I was diagnosed with PCOS. Once the Prolactinoma was under control in 2009, I was given Clomid for 6 months, no pregnancy.  I was using OPKs (ovulation prediction kits) & BBT charting (basal body temping) but I wasn't getting anywhere & OPKs didn't seem to work. Pregnant with first baby, thanks to OvuSense
