Secondary infertility, now pregnant with baby number 2

My name is Jenny and here is my fertility story. I am 27 years old and I have PCOS. I am married, with one daughter, and I just found out that I am pregnant with my second after using OvuSense realtime fertility monitor for just one cycle. Recently, I purchased OvuSense to know for definite if I was ovulating, or not. I used OvuSense each day for one cycle and it was great to see the messages each morning. It filled me with hope and confidence that my body was working in the way that it should. Continue reading

Diagnosed with PCOS at 19 years, now baby number 1 with OvuSense

My name is Amy and I just wanted to share some good news! I have PCOS and I managed to get pregnant after using OvuSense for 3 months. Here's my story.... I was diagnosed at the age of 19 with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). My doctor at the time actually told me that my chances of getting pregnant were pretty low with PCOS. I knew I wanted to be a mother one day so, as you can imagine, I was completely devastated by this news. Since being diagnosed, I have been on the drug, Metformin to try and help my symptoms. My partner and I have been together 7 years. He was my first crush as a teenager but, as he's 10 years older than me, we didn’t start dating until I was 23yrs (and he was 33yrs) and we have been together ever since! In 2014, I had a milestone birthday of turning 30yrs, and he turned 40, and we also managed to also conceive in 2014, so it has been a pretty big year for us! My partner and I knew we wanted a family as neither of us have children.

    Baby number 3 with OvuSense

Hi, my name is Amy and this is my fertility story and journey...

I am 29 and with a new partner now and have been married previously to someone else. I'm studying at University part-time and I work part time doing nails and beauty. I have 2 children who are 3 and 9 but I would like another baby together with my new partner. I just want to say that although I already have kids, at no point is that less painful when you want another, even though people may think it is.

I found out about OvuSense after joining the support group (PCOS Fertility Support) on Facebook. I decided to buy OvuSense after seeing so many ladies posting their charts in the group. Continue reading

My fertility journey so far, with OvuSense

My name is Pamela. I`m 34 years old and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for 16 years (since I was 18) and this is my fertility story so far...

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 14. I had always wondered why my friends would get their period 4 weeks apart on the same day and I never knew when to expect mine! I always had very heavy periods and would be in a lot of pain; I took a trip to my doctor with my mum and she asked what they could do for me. It was then the doctor ordered a blood test for PCOS which confirmed my diagnosis. Continue reading

  • Gemma's story

I took control of my fertility with OvuSense, now I'm pregnant!

My name is Gemma and here is my story...

I'm 32, and have been married to my lovely husband for 5 years. We met in school and have been together about 17 years. We had been trying for a baby for about a year, and went to my doctor as recommended, through blood tests and scans I was diagnosed with PCOS.

My first doctor was very unsympathetic, and prescribed a couple of months of Clomid (without monitoring). I was testing for ovulation myself, and also temping and knew that I wasn't ovulating but she was very reluctant to send me for any monitoring. Eventually I got frustrated and changed doctors surgeries. My next doctor was a lot more sympathetic and got me a referral for a fertility doctor. Continue reading

Secondary infertility, 3 week Luteal Phase and now pregnant

Hi, my name is Kirsty and I’m pregnant with my second baby after using OvuSense for 2 cycles. With OvuSense, I was able not only work out, if and when, I was ovulating, but how long my Luteal Phase was. Turns out, we were trying to conceive at completely the wrong time.

    Here is my story:

My husband and I have been trying for 2 years to conceive again as we already have a daughter together. I am 29 years old and the first time I got pregnant, I was 23. It took 6 months to get pregnant with my daughter, so we were really hoping it wouldn’t take as long as it did the first time. Unfortunately, we were wrong. I saw OvuSense advertised on Facebook and the fact it worked for women who have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), made me read more about it and eventually order one online. In addition, the OvuSense money back guarantee, ‘OvuSense Ovulation Promise’ really sold it for me as I didn’t think I was ovulating at all. Knowing that I could get my money back after 6 months if OvuSense didn’t detect ovulation for me, was a big relief financially. Continue reading

Finally pregnant after 8 years of trying to conceive

    Here's my story & journey...

Married at the age of 22 in 2002 and we started TTCing (trying to conceive) in 2005/6.  I was diagnosed with Prolactinoma (benign tumour in the pituitary gland) in 2007 and was put straight on Bromocriptine to shrink the tumour.

At the same time, I was diagnosed with PCOS. Once the Prolactinoma was under control in 2009, I was given Clomid for 6 months, no pregnancy.  I was using OPKs (ovulation prediction kits) & BBT charting (basal body temping) but I wasn't getting anywhere & OPKs didn't seem to work.
