National Rainbow Baby Day, which is held on August 22, 2022, was founded by Alexis Delchiaro. After struggling with infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss for years, Alexis and her husband finally welcomed their son, Grant, through adoption, and their daughter, Gianna, a short time later. With a mission of honoring her family’s journey and celebrating her children, Alexis founded National Rainbow Baby Day on Gianna’s birthday in 2018.
