One or more of your patients is possibly either using or will start to use OvuSense, a family of fertility monitoring products. OvuSense is a fully approved class II medical device, clinically proven in over cycles of use, and a range of peer reviewed publications.
OvuSense® Pro is a reproductive cycle assessment system which is accessed through a secure web portal. It provides a continuous remote view of your patients’ fertility status from cycle to cycle. Our novel clinical research shows it helps by providing an understanding of the following key information:
Take a look at OvuSense Pro in action in the section below.
Not only does OvuSense Pro help you and your patient understand their cycle, it helps them feel that they are taking back control of their fertility. Meantime, with OvuSense Pro you’ll now know exactly what effect your recommendations and treatment are having. You don’t need to look into your patients’ cycles on a regular basis, but OvuSense Pro provides actionable feedback at a glance when you want it. There is a huge benefit for patients with PCOS and irregular cycles, and their physicians, in this ‘positive feedback loop’. Click here to get started with OvuSense® Pro
Your patient is most probably using the OvuCore sensor with the OvuSense App. The OvuCore sensor is designed for women that have been trying to conceive for some time. It's inserted in the vagina much like a tampon, and measures continuous Core Body Temperature (cCBT) every five minutes overnight with an extremely high resolution of 0.003° Celsius/ 0.0054° Fahrenheit. No radio waves are transmitted, so the OvuCore sensor is completely safe. In the morning, the user removes the OvuCore sensor, washes it and downloads data to the OvuSense App. The OvuSense App plots the data on a daily chart and updates the cycle characteristics for the user. If your patient is not yet using OvuSense, it's the OvuCore sensor you should recommend. OvuSense also offers the OvuFirst sensor, which is based on the OvuCore technology but is worn on the skin overnight. It provides more convenience but with less accuracy. Although you can still see the data recorded with OvuFirst in the OvuSense Pro portal, it may provide less useful insight, particularly if your patient has significant variability in their temperature results due to issues such as PCOS. Be sure to make a recommendation to step up to the OvuCore sensor if you feel your patient will benefit from more precise monitoring. The upgrade cost is minimal.
