I'm 32, and have been married to my lovely husband for 5 years. We met in school and have been together about 17 years. We had been trying for a baby for about a year, and went to my doctor as recommended, through blood tests and scans I was diagnosed with PCOS.

Hi, my name is Kirsty and I’m pregnant with my second baby after using OvuSense for 2 cycles. With OvuSense, I was able not only work out, if and when, I was ovulating, but how long my Luteal Phase was. Turns out, we were trying to conceive at completely the wrong time.

Married at the age of 22 in 2002 and we started TTCing (trying to conceive) in 2005/6. I was diagnosed with Prolactinoma (benign tumour in the pituitary gland) in 2007 and was put straight on Bromocriptine to shrink the tumour.

My wife and I wanted a baby and so we started looking for a donor in 2011. As we are a same-sex couple, obviously our only choice is to use donor sperm in order to conceive. It’s hard work to find the right donor and with AI (artificial insemination) but we are proof that miracles can happen!
